Our office is open for scheduled in person consultations with David S. Dikman. However, due to remaining Covid-19 health concerns we seek to limit office visits where practicable. Towards that end, we offer meetings also by phone or video conference using Zoom, Google Meet, and other video platforms if needed.
The court system in the five boroughs, Nassau and Suffolk Counties has continued to expand its operations since the initial pandemic shut down in March 2020. Electronic filing of case documents became the norm once operations began to resume. Most court appearances continue to be virtual in family law related preceedings. Some judges have begun to do in-person trials in the courthouse, but due to the Delta variant concerns and the uptick in positive Covid-19 tests of late, this is currently becoming less common with virtual trial work continuing.

Leo Dikman, a former Family Court Judge in the City of New York, opened his law office in New York City on Jamaica Avenue in Queens County. Judge Dikman’s son, Michael Dikman, was a renowned practitioner in Matrimonial and Family Law until his death in 2018, after a long partnership with David S. Dikman, his son, spanning well more than two decades. David continues the tradition, hard work and perseverance.
